Springtime fishing in Sarasota – Inshore / Nearshore fishing report March 2021

Well it’s definitely springtime and the weather and waters are beginning to heat up along with the fishing. It’s still just mid-March and we’re exiting our winter bite and moving into our spring action that includes a bit of EVERYTHING from both seasons including grouper, snapper, sea bass, trippletail, redfish, lots of sheepshead and spanish mackerel and the occasional preditors like shark and barracuda. We’ve seen lots of old friends this past month and and it seems that everybody wants to be down in Florida this spring and I don’t blame them one bit. We are really busy but we still have some open spots so don’t be shy and ask us about availability.

If this looks like fun, give us a call to book your trip at (941) 650-9788. We’ll make sure you have a great day out in the Sarasota waters no matter what kind of fishing you like to do. If you want to do some exploring too, we can make that happen as well. See you soon.

REMEMBER: Tarpon season is coming soon, be sure and book your trip soon!
